Loki is insane enough at this point that he really does not see a problem with destroying an entire world. You cannot excuse that. This isn’t “Loki needs a hug and Dad to tell him he loves him,” this is Loki has dove headfirst into the deep end of madness and he is not coming back.
This is why I love Loki as a character. I love a good villain, especially a villain that is so tangled in his own goals that the problem can’t be taken care of like a Saturday morning cartoon.
